Background
AI agents such as ChatGPT and Gemini are becoming a new entry point for shopping. As consumers shift toward telling an AI their requirements and delegating everything from product discovery to payment, businesses face new demands: structured product data, machine-readable pricing and inventory, and support for multiple protocols including ACP, UCP, and AP2.
